I'm Sandria Tran — a filmmaker, designer, and researcher based between Orange County, California and Edinburgh, Scotland.

My creative background began in analogue photography and early exhibitions, which led me to the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where I studied film and new media arts and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Building on post-baccalaureate coursework in Computer Science and Mathematics, I moved toward interdisciplinary work in STEM. I'm currently an MSc student in Mind, Language, and Embodied Cognition (Cognitive Science & Philosophy of Mind) at the University of Edinburgh, where I serve as Programme Representative and research autonomous navigation at the Centre for AI in Assistive Autonomy.

I also enjoy giving back through community and education. I serve as an ambassador for the Scottish SPCA, support community food programmes through @TheSoftBunnyxxFoundation, share recipes and food writing via @TheSoftBunnyxx, and encourage early scientific curiosity through my STEAM nonprofit @CerebralConstellations.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy Pilates, yoga, and strength training, along with hiking, skiing, surfing, and beekeeping — I find balance in spending time outdoors and learning new things.
