I'm Sandria Tran (she/her) — a filmmaker, designer, and gastronome based between Orange County, California and Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.

My creative practice is rooted in visual storytelling, beginning with classical analogue photography and early exhibitions that led me to the USC School of Cinematic Arts to train in traditional film and new media arts where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Driven by post-baccalaureate foundations in Computer Science and Mathematics, I found myself drawn to interdisciplinary work in STEM. As an MSc student in Mind, Language, and Embodied Cognition (Cognitive Science & Philosophy of Mind) and Programme Representative at the University of Edinburgh, I explore cognitive science while researching autonomous navigation at the Centre for AI in Assistive Autonomy.

My philanthropic work centres on interconnected ecosystems and kinder communities. I serve as an ambassador for the Scottish SPCA, champion food sovereignty through @TheSoftBunnyxxFoundation, share culinary narratives via @TheSoftBunnyxx, and foster early scientific curiosity with my STEAM nonprofit @CerebralConstellations.

Outside the classroom, I'm anchored in wellness — lagree, hot yoga, pilates, and strength training. Whether hiking, skiing, surfing, or beekeeping, I find balance in exploring the natural world and navigating uncharted domains.
